Bethany Thoresen, MPT
Physical Therapist
Bethany relocated to North Kohala on the Big Island in April 2020. She was born in Houston Texas having lived most of her life in Austin, Texas.
Bethany graduated with her degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas in 1991.
Having worked in a hospital setting, skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting, she has specialized in outpatient orthopedics and sports medicine. She treats a wide variety of diagnoses including shoulders, elbows, hands, spine, hips, knees and ankles from injury and/or surgery.
Her career in PT included consistent management of multiple locations and being a Director of PT and Rehabilitation, however, she never stopped treating patients as that is her true pursuit of happiness as a PT. Bethany is very focused and sincere in her drive to help people in their rehabilitation.
Bethany’s hobbies and interests include running having completed many 5K, 10K and half-marathons and a love of the outdoors including gardening and wildlife. In addition to these hobbies is the love of her dogs and cats.
